This collection of short stories by Irfan Horozovic, the award-winning author from Bosnia and Hercegovina, evokes the haunting and confusing time of war and exile on a cast of characters, some real and some imagined.

From the mysterious Garden of Fountains to a tormented nightingale to finding solace in clouds, Horozovic paints a provocative world that is both heartbreaking and awe-inspiring in his trademark magical prose.

The collection in Invisible Postman reflects his work over the past 50 years. Combining a poetic style with themes and characters reflective of the history of the Balkans countries over the 20th century, Horozovic proves why he's one of the most loved and respected living authors around.

Now translated into English for the first time, Invisible Postman is an invitation for readers outside of Bosnia and Hercegovina to discover the unmistakable voice of a master writer.
